Meet Fereidoon, a proud father of two children, aged 26 and 17.

A gifted artist, he plays the guitar and sings for his church, lifting hearts with his music and spirit. Fereidoon’s journey to the United States, alongside his family, began with the hope of a brighter future. After enduring a long and challenging asylum process in Turkey, they finally arrived in 2016, determined to build a better life.

In 2022, Fereidoon received devastating news he was diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer. Doctors told him there was little hope, urging him to prepare for the inevitable and spend his remaining time with his loved ones. Yet, Fereidoon, with the heart of a warrior and the love of a father, refused to accept defeat.

For over two years, he has defied the odds, fighting every day for his family, his life, and his faith. His strength, determination, and courage have kept him going, even when it seemed impossible.

Today, Fereidoon faces another battle, and his family is struggling to afford rent and critical medication. The weight of these financial challenges only adds to the burden, but still, Fereidoon fights on.
