My name is Feras Draz. I am 22 years old and a university student studying Accounting from Khan Younis in Gaza.
Since the war began, my life has been turned upside down. I have been displaced more than 15 times, constantly moving from one place to another just trying to stay safe. Every day brings uncertainty, fear, and the struggle to meet even the most basic needs.
I am facing this reality mostly on my own. My family is outside Gaza, and I remain here trying to survive and support myself while also helping my mother as much as I can. Despite everything, I am still holding onto my education because it is the only hope I have for a better future.
Before the war made life even harder, I worked a small daily job where I earned about $15 a day. It was modest, but it helped me cover food and basic expenses. Sadly, I lost that job because of the ongoing situation, and now I have no income at all.
Today, I carry a heavy burden — trying to survive the war, continue my studies, and provide
