Hi, my name is Monica, and I’m raising funds for my dad, Felix.

Our family’s world changed suddenly when my dad experienced a life-threatening Type A aortic dissection, followed by a severe brain hemorrhage and a long, complicated ICU stay. Since then, he has undergone multiple procedures and continues to fight every single day. He now has a trach and PEG tube, and while he has shown encouraging signs of awareness and progress, he still has a long road ahead with specialized care, rehabilitation, and recovery.

As we try to focus on his healing, we are also facing a growing financial burden. My dad is unable to work and is currently on disability, but his employment is ending soon, which means we may have to take on a very high monthly COBRA payment just to keep his health insurance in place. With limited income coming in and my mother not currently working, the costs of medical care, long-term care, transportation, and daily life are becoming more and more overwhelming.

We are doing everything we can to support him and make sure he gets the care he needs. If you are able to donate, no amount is too small, and every contribution will help ease the pressure on our family during this incredibly difficult time.
