Our family is heartbroken with news that our beloved husband, father, brother, son, and friend has been diagnosed with cancer. Felix has a rare, and aggressive form of cancer called Retroperitoneal Sarcoma located in his abdomen. The tumor is the size of a football. He's in pain most of the time and is exhausted. This cancer will need to be treated with a combination of surgery to remove the tumor along with removing his right kidney, immunotherapy, chemotherapy, and radiation. Unfortunately, this type of cancer has a 50% chance of reoccurring, along with a 50% chance of survival of 5 years.
We typically don't ask for help; we work hard and save for everything we have. We are asking for any support you can help with. This diagnosis is making working difficult, between doctors appointments, scans, blood tests, surgery, immunotherapy, chemo & radiation, we need assistance paying for medical treatments. Also, having a family to support is quickly draining our savings.
Thank you in advance for any help or support you can provide.
