Felix (Mwalimu) Oloo, a beloved father, coach, community member, and dedicated Correctional Officer in Monroe, passed away on May 4, 2026. The family, organizing committee, and wider community are deeply saddened by his loss. Felix was a respected coach and former Nakuru player who went on to coach the Kenya Lionesses before relocating to the United States. He also worked for the Washington DOC at Monroe Correctional Complex as a dedicated Officer, serving his community with commitment and integrity. His impact on the game, his profession, and the lives he touched will be remembered with great respect and gratitude.
We have come together to support Felix’s family during this difficult time through prayer, fellowship, and coordinated efforts. Daily meetings are being held at 12115 Meridian Ave S, Apt D235, Everett, WA, 98208, where friends and community members gather from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM to offer comfort and solidarity. Our collective goal is to stand with the family and raise funds to facilitate the repatriation of Felix’s body to Kenya, where he will be laid to rest with dignity and honor.
Your support will assist with transportation and repatriation of the body, funeral and burial expenses, and family support during the bereavement period. All contributions, no matter the amount, are sincerely appreciated. Thank you for your prayers, support, and solidarity during this time. Further details regarding memorial and funeral arrangements will be shared in due course.
