This GoFundMe is for Felipe Pena and Emeer Bush. We are friends since high school and decided to move out at 18 years old and live at The Village at Chandler Crossings. Felipe is a 2nd year student at MSU and Emeer is a 2nd year student at LCC, in addition we both work part-time, allowing us to afford to live independently but not by much. We were unable to retrieve nothing from the fire, we lost absolutely everything we had worked for, for years. Some of our belongings were priceless but as we try to rebuild we find ourselves in a deep financial hole. 

Unfortunately, on 5/8, our apartment building caught on fire. We lived on the third floor of Building 9, where the fire caused the roof to collapse. We are opening this GoFundMe to try and receive some financial support to help us during this tragedy. The funds will go towards helping us rebuild. They will help us replace essential items such as clothes, shoes, food, school needs for the upcoming school year, and much more. The goal will slowly adjust as these funds will help us push throughout summer. We have taken huge hits, mentally, physically, and emotionally these last couple of days. Your messages and support are all appreciated. Thank you all
