Over the New Year, our family friend Felicity, her fiancé Bryan, their two children (3 years and 8 months old) and their 13 year old niece were in a roll over accident coming home from a family drive. They hit a sheet of ice which caused the car to spin into a ditch landing on its passenger side. Thankfully the kids only had minor injuries from broken glass, and Bryan had some severe bruising to his abdomen. Unfortunately Felicity sustained more serious injuries. She was taken to Elmore County Hospital where imaging showed she has broken 5 ribs, a fractured sternum, and 5 broken/fractured vertebrae. They immediately transferred her to St. Al’s in Boise where she stayed until January 4th. We are extremely grateful that she is here and healing, but the road to full recovery is going to be a lot for her and her family. She will be in a back brace for 3 months, and will have follow up appointments with a neurologist and physical therapy. All of this with a toddler and infant is a lot to take on. Family members are taking off work to try and help Felicity and Bryan during this time, so any help financially will help relieve some stress so they can focus on getting Felicity completely healed.
