The expansive community of people he loved is heartbroken by the news that Dave Puig died on November 12th from a work accident. His wife, Feliciana, and two precious kids, Alma (5) and Zola (1), have suffered an immeasurable loss, and one of the ways we can support them during this time of grief is to minimize their financial concerns. Dave's work was the main source of income for their family, and that financial stability is gone now. We want to help Feliciana have time and space to navigate her grief while she is also supporting their daughters, and continuing to manage the day to day needs of life.

Dave was a treasured part of all the communities he was a part of, and there were many. He epitomized kindness, generosity, connection, care, and joy. Dave was always, always ready to help others in whatever creative, concrete, unique, and needed ways arose. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends, whose lives he touched, just by being himself.
