My name is Alissa, and I’m the owner of Lucky Green Ladies. I’m starting this fundraiser for our General Manager, who was recently the victim of a hit-and-run while crossing the street. She suffered serious injuries, including a broken fibula and tibia that required major leg surgery, a broken 5th metacarpal in her left hand, and a severe shoulder strain. Felicia is currently hospitalized in severe pain. Because of the combination of injuries, she can’t use crutches and when she’s discharged, she’ll need to enter an intensive inpatient rehab facility, as she isn’t able to live on her own right now.

Her road to recovery is expected to take anywhere from 3 to 6 months, during which she will be unable to work or support herself. She also did not have health insurance at the time of the accident. She’s working with an attorney to pursue the driver who hit her, but in the meantime, she’s facing significant medical and legal expenses.
