Support Felicia in Memory of Allen

Story

Felicia volunteered daily care for Allen. But she had to borrow a car to do it. Allen wanted to help her afford to get back on the road, helping others. Felicia Solomon is family. As Geo. Allen Johnston’s nurse and volunteer caregiver for eight years, she visited him daily as his health declined during and after the pandemic. Felicia still works in Williamsburg, Virginia, where she met and cared for Allen. But she doesn’t own a car. She has to borrow or rent a car to make the sixty-mile round-trip commute from her home in Hampton Roads. Finding a car for Felicia was one of Allen’s top initiatives last autumn when he passed away. Allen knew well the custom of sending flowers from the family business, Johnston’s Quality Flowers, which has served his hometown in Arkansas for more than a century. But in lieu of flowers for Allen's memorial service on May 24th in Williamsburg, consider honoring Allen’s love of family, and one of his last wishes, by making a difference for someone who cared for him. --Allen's sons Seth & Drew Geo.
