2026 Walk for Autism!!!

Saturday April 25th 2026 at 10am

Starting and ending at Oneida Public Library (459 Main Street, Oneida NY 13421)

The Oneida Area Autism Walk is a special event dedicated to raising awareness and support for individuals with autism and their families. Come walk with us to show your support, build community connections, and promote inclusivity. The theme this year is “Walking together”. The walk will be about a mile long, snacks and drinks provider thanks to Ironside Funeral Home, and ending back at the Library with a photo booth, information from Families FIRST, and sensory fun!

This year we are raising money through donations and t-shirt sales for Families FIRST (formerly named FEAT of CNY). Families FIRST is a grant funded organization that values inclusion, respect, support, and therapy for those with autism and their families. Their heart is huge and they have personally helped our family (The Baileys) in incredible ways, as we’ve learned how to navigate life with profound autism at our core. It is Families FIRST 21st year in operation and we’d like to celebrate their commitment and dedication to supporting so many families like ours. Last year we raised over $2200 for their 20th year! This year we are hoping to raise $3000.

This year, instead of just “Connor’s clan”, several of our friends who walk the walk of Autism have joined us. We are grateful to walk together, and the shirts sold reflect the names and families of our community. If you missed the t-shirt sales at the beginning of April, there will be a limited number for sale at the walk on April 25th!
