Join FCAT in Creating a Safe Haven for Cats

Tax deductible

We at Feral Cat Awareness Team, just came across a 5-acre property listed for $65,000 that could be the start of something life-changing for the cats in our care: a true sanctuary space.

I’m seriously considering purchasing it, but I can’t do it alone. Would anyone be willing to help make this dream a reality?

The current setup—especially the thrift store—is no longer working for so many of the cats. And trying to rely on volunteers has been heartbreaking at times. Today I was alone cleaning after three people didn’t show up. It’s clear that something has to change.

My vision is to build a better space for the cats, starting with land. I also want to expand the thrift store so it can generate more funds to cover spay/neuter, vet care, and other essentials. Eventually, I’ll sell my own home to contribute toward making this sanctuary a lasting refuge—but for now, I need help getting the foundation in place.

If you have thoughts, ideas, or feel called to help in any way—financially or otherwise—please reach out. This could be a turning point for the cats who desperately need us.

Feral Cat Awareness Team

Feral Cat Awareness Team's Mission is to implement the trap, neuter and return (TNR) method of population control, and promote the adoption of long-term, caretaker-based solutions regarding feral cats. Or more specifically: Facilitate the work of caretakers in caring for feral cats and controlling feral cat population growth. Provide a communication network and support resources for caretakers. Project a strong unifying voice for feral cat caretakers and their colonies. Work with and educate property decision makers and governmental agencies in appropriate and humane solutions for feral cats. Implement and manage programs that benefit the constituencies we serve.

Every contribution, big or small, makes a real impact. Even just a few dollars can help move this mission forward and reach those who need it most.

If you can’t donate right now, sharing this fundraiser is also incredibly helpful. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. It means the world to me.
