I'm Faye and I'm asking for help for my beloved dog, Sweet Baby Jane.

I've been struggling to find a full-time for over a year. I was previously a marketing executive with 13+ years of experience and despite many MANY applications and a few interviews (I used to always land the job in an interview!), I have been unable to get a job in this crazy economy/job market. I do have part-time work bartending but if I get sick or when weather is bad (like the recent snow two weekends in a row) the bar closes down and I lose money.

In the past 14 months, I've had to raid and then close my 401k, max out my credit cards, and take loans I can't really pay back just to make ends meet.

My father was diagnosed with Parkinson's, so my mom had to quit her part-time job in home healthcare to take care of him.

I've barely been paying my bills as it is and then I found out my dog has Cushings (with a $300 test). I feel drained, financially and emotionally.

Sweet Baby Jane is almost 12. I got her when she was 3 and was told she might not be around for too long. I actually had to sign paperwork that said I understood her issues (she's lost a front leg and had sustained severe damage to her liver).

Despite a few close calls, beyond all expectations, Baby Jane has continued to thrive. Her most recent liver values test results were astoundingly good.

I believe lots of love helped.

Her Cushing's medicine is over $100/month and I'll need to get her more tests (plus find a way to pay off the $300 test she just had).
