On January 7th Jose went to the emergency room at our local Hospital after a positive Covid home test. 

Jose was starting to feel ill, but had no idea what was coming. Unfortunately,  the communication from the hospital was poor.  Coupled with the Covid restrictions, his family had no idea how sick Jose was.  

After pushing to get more answers, It became very clear that the hospital, did not have the manpower or knowledge to care for Jose and certainly , no time to respond to his family.  

This is when the beautiful community of Sonoma , kicked into high gear.  Along side family members , an the outpouring of people in the community,  we were able to get him a higher level of care.

It was a dangerous transport, but Jose made it to Kaiser San Rafael and is still in critical condition. 

As the doctor said, "he could remain in the ICU for weeks or months, we will have good days and bad days.  But I myself, as a father of young children, will fight for a positive outcome." 

We have no idea what the future holds, but first we ask for your prayers and secondly any help, would be greatly appreciated. With mounting hospital, bills and the hope of ongoing care. We have been praying that he will be whole again, but his team of physicians are trying to prepare us for all outcomes.

26 year old Jose, married my daughter Kylie Tate in 2020 with their beautiful daughter Arabella , as their flower girl.  Then during Covid they became pregnant with their second girl, New Years Eve baby Liliana, who just turned one.  Now they are expecting their third baby girl in July of 2022.

As the breadwinner in their family.  He owns his own paintings and contracting business , Jose Sanchez Construction and is very well respected in our community.  

Kylie, now is facing struggles that are unfathomable. With 2 small girls and one on the way.  So please consider helping the Sanchez girls get through this most difficult time. We welcome words of encouragement and prayers.
