Support Father Frank's Journey Home
Donation protected
Hi everyone….I’m Paula Gruny. I’m a Parishioner of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Catholic Community here in Sicily.
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Father Frank for nearly 3 years. Both himself and Mary Beth were there for me and my family when I was sent to Walter Reed for 3 months last year for medical care. My family and I are by no means special…..this is who Father and Mary Beth are….their commitment to faith, service and charity has touched countless lives not just in the Immaculate Conception community but in the local Catholic community as well as Stateside.
Together with Father the community has had the opportunity over the past 11 years to celebrate baptisms, first communions and confirmations of our children…..together we have catechized our children and youth.
We have celebrated parish fiestas, pizza and chili cookoffs, baby showers and the holy days of the Church.
Together we have prayed for the sick, as well as for the repose of our departed loved ones. We have prayed for the needs of the world.
We have through our donation drives cared for the needs of others , especially the elderly, mothers and their children and those less fortunate.
Father Frank has truly been a beacon of hope and a pillar of strength for our community…..his dedication has personified the essence of a true and good shepherd.
Recently Father Frank received news that his contract would not be renewed, leaving him with little time to prepare for a return to the States.
Known for living modestly and prioritizing the needs of others, Father Frank now faces the challenge of securing the necessary funds for his move back Stateside.
The goal of this fundraiser is to raise $30,000 to cover some of the costs associated with Father Frank’s relocation. This amount will help ensure a smooth transition and provide him with the support he needs during this unexpected change.
Your generosity will not only assist Father Frank in his journey back Stateside but also honor his years of selfless service. It’s our turn to give back to a man who has given so much to others.
*** A note from Father Frank
