Help Father Fisha Yohanis Walk Again – Urgent Medical Fundraiser for Life-Changing Surgery Abroad
We are humbly reaching out on behalf of Father (Aba) Fisha Yohanis Tadese, a 46-year-old devoted father, faithful servant of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, and a beloved member of his community in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
For the past two years, Father Fisha has been suffering from progressive bilateral hip pain, leaving him bedridden and unable to walk without support. Despite ongoing medical treatments and strong pain medications, his condition has worsened to the point where normal movement causes intense pain. He has now been diagnosed with advanced Avascular Necrosis (AVN) of both femoral heads, a severe and debilitating condition that affects blood flow to the bones in the hips.
Doctors at Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital have concluded that bilateral Total Hip Replacement (THR) surgery abroad is urgently required to relieve his suffering and allow him to regain mobility and independence. Unfortunately, this essential procedure cannot be performed in Ethiopia, and the cost of treatment and travel is beyond what Fisha and his family can afford.
Fisha has dedicated his life to serving others through faith, community work, and unwavering spiritual commitment. He now needs our help to access the life-changing care he deserves.
