Support Faten's Journey to RoboCup Junior 2025

Hello! We are Faten, a robotics team composed of 4 early college students from Bard College at Simon's Rock in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
We are aiming to participate in the Rescue Line sub-league of RoboCup Junior 2025, where our robot will navigate through complex terrains to safely locate and evacuate targets that simulate real-life emergency scenarios. We hope to one day use the skills we learn to make a lasting positive impact on society by using the powerful tools of AI and robotics.
Two of our members participated in RoboCup Junior 2024, receiving 1st place in Rescue Line in the USA SuperRegionals as well as the Community Award at the Eindhoven globals. This year will be our last time competing together as a team, and we are going to try our best to create our best work yet. We are currently working on designing our robot, but we need your support to purchase the necessary parts and proceed to the next stages of development, since we are the first and only Simon's Rock's robotics Funds raised will go towards:
- Robot parts - motors, carbon fiber reinforced plastic, etc.
- Equipment to set up the robot's training court
- CNC milling machine
- Laser cutter
- Oscilloscope
- Competition registration fees
- Travel & hotel costs during the competition

**11/20/2024: Yesterday, students and faculty at Simon's Rock were notified that our campus will be shutting down after the end of this academic year. We are all still processing this overwhelming change, and while our school initially offered to support us, we are no longer sure if they can still do so.
