I am a theatre student myself, and seeing creative life as we know it come to a skidding halt in March was a shock and a half. Thus, these projects.
I am interested in how storytelling can take place in settings other than a theatre or even in person and seek to explore that here. Both of these projects involve the participant as a character themself, directly and indirectly interacting with various people and creatures who contact them for help through a unique Choose-Your-Own-Adventure format. However, even digital projects have a cost.
Any funds I receive from this drive will go first towards the necessary technical aspects, such as a website, a domain, and Google Suite plus accessories for both projects. After that, I want to prioritize being able to pay the amazing team of collaborators who have been working with me in order to bring this vision to life. Any money donated beyond the official need will go towards paying the artists involved.
They have been hard at work since October with me; writing, drawing, and helping me design this wonderful experience. Some examples of our works in progress are featured below with credit to the artists, and I would love for you to check them out.
