Support Fat Dad's Fight Against Infection

Everyone meet Fat Dad, our loved and cherished family dog who is now not doing so well and needs your help. This came as a shock because everything was fine until it wasn't, all because of a groomer.

We took him to a groomer March 26th from that moment what seem to be casual itching progressed to a skin irritation causing his hair to fall off and scabs to develop. We took him to the vet and they told us he had a skin infection and we started with treatments. Since then He hasn’t been eating he’s only drinking water but vomiting minutes after so much he started vomiting blood soon after. His bowel movements had been bloody, diarrhea. We immediately took him back to the animal hospital they said he had a severe blood infection leading to swelling in his pancreas. We’ve had to hospitalize him for several days so that he can have fluids and antibiotics that in total cost us $4000. They are now saying that they see something in his stomach and want to perform a surgery which would be 6 to 8000 more dollars not including further hospitalization and meds. This all happened because we took him to get groomed and they used a toxic shampoo on him. Is there any organizations or groups that can help with the funding of his hospitalization or treatments? We are all tapped out with what we’ve already put down for the days of hospitalization.

Just so all you pet parents know the groomer used a product called Citrus-Mela and it has hospitalized our family dog. This is crazy, my Fat Dad is now fighting for his life all because of a groomer!? Anything you can provide to help us get our family dog back to his normal healthy self will be so very appreciated and we will love you for it!!!
