My daughter, Farrah, was walking home from school on Thursday afternoon when something unimaginable happened. After carefully looking both ways, she began to cross a side street. Suddenly, a truck pulled off the highway and struck her on her right side, sending her into the air and causing her to land hard on her right side. The shock and fear of that moment have left us both shaken.

As a single mom, I am doing everything I can to support Farrah through this difficult time. The medical bills from her emergency care, ongoing treatments, and the therapy she needs for her mental well-being are quickly adding up. I want to make sure she has every chance to heal, both physically and emotionally, but I simply can’t afford all of these expenses on my own.
