Farid Ahmed, 62 years old, originally from Kanaighat, Sylhet, came to America via Canada alone with the hope of building a better and prosperous life. Unfortunately, he suffered a massive bleeding stroke on November 28, 2024 causing right sided paralysis affecting both right arm and leg. He is now hospitalized at Buffalo General Hospital in Stroke unit. Due to his immigration status, he is only eligible for emergency insurance. Once he is discharged from hospital, he would need help with housing, food and routine care. He would also need monetary help to pay for attorney to process asylum case. Before coming to USA, Mr Farid Ahmed borrowed significant amount money for his travel expanse which he would be unable to pay due to his current health condition. He doesn't have any family members in USA and is in urgent need of support from the Buffalo community to aid his recovery and cover medical expenses. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping him get back on his feet.
