Support Farewell My Fool at Triskelion Arts

I am writing to share that I have the honor of presenting a full-length solo show called "Farewell My Fool" at Triskelion Arts located in Brooklyn, NY from June 12-14, 2025. This solo show will be the culmination of my time spent as a 2025 Trisk Resident Artist. So, I must bear the fruits of my labor by sharing an entire show with you all and I am so excited to do so!

Performed and created by myself, "Farewell My Fool" is a multi-disciplinary solo show that features the character JoyBoy da Clown who interrogates the legacy of exploitation in the entertainment industry, the failures of ambition, respectability politics, and self-realization. By utilizing clowning, physical theater, and immersive audience participation, JoyBoy da Clown brings these grievances to the forefront and lays them out to create and shatter a character.

But I need your help. Making a solo show does not mean that there are no collaborators or production fees involved in this process. Every show requires a team of other incredible artists to get it off the ground and I need your help in securing the funds to support them. My goal is to not just create a show for myself but to help facilitate a growing community of like-minded artists who can share their resources, skills, and talents with each other.

I am asking for your support to raise $7,000 to go towards the fees of my collaborators and production costs:

Director - $2,000

Original Music - $1,000

Photographer- $750

Assistance- $750

Costumes/Wig - $1,100

Props - $400

Post-Production - $1,000

Merch, Food, Marketing, Misc

And listen, I know that this is a big ask right now. We are knee deep in a recession, the price of living is expensive, and the arts are losing funds left and right.
