Support Farcee's Housing and Health Emergency

My name is Farcee (Cover photo right, they/she) and I'm here to ask for your help. I was suddenly and traumatically widowed at the age of 24 in February of last year and since losing my partner Dasha (Day-sha, cover photo left, she/her) I have been struggling to survive, even more than we were before her passing. I have experienced lifelong chronic pain which only worsened with last year's trauma and Grief, my many disabilities have flared and reduced my ability to work. Additionally, a large piece of my apartment's ceiling recently crashed to the ground due to an apartment-wide leak, narrowly missing my late partner's aging dog Bohnji (now in my care, 16 years old). There is now mold growing in our walls and ceiling, making my roommate's and my health problems unmanageable and likely forcing my roommate to move out in the coming month. Rent and housing in New York City are already challenging and my building's management isn't addressing the mold effectively, meaning my disabilities have been worsened by the spores further reducing my ability to work and to manage my home. There is a threat of homelessness as I withhold rent and prepare to enter into a legal battle with my landlord to restore my mold-free living space. I work a very active job so I rely on my body's functionality in order to have the security of a home. I've recently started using a cane, which has been mildly supportive, but does nothing for the number of emergencies and impossibilities facing me right now.

If you can afford to support me financially, please, consider it with compassion. Related to my trans identity, I have no familial support or contact, and fleeing to New York in 2020 was a matter of survival and escape from lifelong isolation, high control, and free labor exploitation. Longterm I plan to move to Canada next year after my lease ends to be with my current partner and an entire community of chosen family is waiting to receive and support me. My partner is also a trans disabled widow in his 20's, and if I can make it to the same city as him, so much rest and recovery opens for me and Bohnji in her last year or two of life. The key is arriving at this place of safety and community, the journey there will ask so much more of me than I have. My plan is there, my funding and energy is not, anything helps to fund my survival and hopefully journey as well. Help if you can ❤️ all the love in the world.

Things this money will help pay for, in order of priority:

-Repairing or replacing my damaged mode of transportation(an e-scooter that takes a massive toll of time, energy, and commuting costs off of me.) so I can maintain my ability to work and reduce my exposure to infectious illnesses as exposure to mold has left me immunocompromised.

-Groceries

-Legal representation for the looming case against me for withholding rent until repairs are done appropriately in my apartment, and to file a countersuit against the owner of my building for damages to my health and lost income.

-Rent once the damages are repaired, or to cover the expenses of moving to another short-term apartment if they are not.

-Potential vet bills as Bohnji ages, it's been a miracle she's stayed as healthy as she is, but she is 16 and I fully expect that trend to end at some point.

-Anything left over from these emergency expenses will be put directly towards my move to Canada, and supporting me in any way necessary through the trials of such a large move.
