My name is Fantasia, and I’m reaching out during one of the most overwhelming and frightening times of my life. Recently, after weeks of feeling weaker and more exhausted than usual, I went to the doctor and received the news that I have breast cancer. Hearing those words was terrifying, and I’m still trying to process what it means for my future. I don’t have health insurance, and finding work has been nearly impossible because of my background. The uncertainty of how I’ll manage the costs of treatment and daily living has left me feeling scared and alone.

I’m doing my best to stay strong, but the reality is that I need help.
