Cara, Mike & Eli's House Fire Fund

On November 30th, while my sister Cara, her partner Mike, and their son Eli were visiting us and other family for the holidays, a spontanous fire broke out in their home. Not only was everything they own destroyed, but they also lost two beloved pets - Pip, their beautiful cat, and Ari, their loyal family dog. The home is no longer habitable. While they are grieving the loss of their family pets, sentimental belongings, and home they also have to think about replacing everything they need to live. A close friend has generously put them up in an apartment for the time being, but they will need to find permanent housing soon and replace furniture, clothing, personal items, toys, kitchen items, and everything else we use in our homes.
Both Cara and Mike are well established community members in Bend. Mike is a career firefighter with the US Forest Service, and has traveled the country helpings others in need. Cara has worked at Ariana restaurant in Bend for over 10 years.
