I have known my friend and her husband for over 10 years, and in that time, I have seen how caring and generous they are. They are always willing to help others, and their five children are truly their whole world. On November 3rd, their lives were turned upside down when her husband, the sole provider for their family of seven, was unexpectedly detained by ICE. This sudden loss has been incredibly hard on them, both emotionally and financially.

With her husband gone, my friend is now facing the overwhelming challenge of supporting their children on her own. She is doing everything she can to keep their family together—looking for work, trying to sort out her schedule, and struggling to pay rent and bills that are already piling up. On top of these daily expenses, they are also facing significant legal fees as they fight for her husband’s release and hope he will be granted bond.
