Support Family Owned Capitol Hill Dry Cleaner

Donation protected
UPDATE:  THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!  I just called Young to let her know about the outpouring of support and she was overwhelmed.  I did want to let everyone know that one of the contributions to the effort was logged incorrectly so the actual total is $4500 less than what shows, but this is still an amazing outpouring of love and kindness.   If my calculations are correct, we are actually just short of $10,000 so I am going to change the goal to that.   I love our neighborhood! Hi Everyone!

Yesterday, January 28, 2022 at around 3:40pm, Youngmi Choi, whose family (the Chois, Shons and Chungs) own and run the Capitol Hill Cleaning Emporium, was the victim of an armed robbery. She is safe and physically uninjured, but it was obviously a terrifying experience. This latest trauma comes on the heels of someone maliciously breaking one of the large glass windows at her business and the hardship her business has suffered after so many of us began working from home and needing to have a lot less things dry cleaned. She and her extended family have been through a lot lately. We are setting up this GoFundMe page so that everyone on Lincoln Park, Capitol Hill and beyond can join in and let Youngmi and her family know how much we love and value them. Please give what you can to show our support for Youngmi and her family.

Thanks so much!
