Support Family of Worker Angel Pilataxi

Donation protected
On Friday, February 11, construction worker Angel Pilataxi tragically died at a construction site at 124 Columbia Heights in the neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights.

Angel had worked in construction for decades. Originally from Ecuador, Angel raised six kids in Plainfield, New Jersey - three children and three step-children. Angel's kids range in age from just 12 up to 33. Now, their family is without their primary breadwinner and their loving father.

Please give what you can to help Angel's family cover funeral expenses and stabilize after this unexpected loss.

Council Member Lincoln Restler has organized this fundraiser for the Pilataxi family in partnership with the Worker Justice Project, which organizes low-wage, immigrant workers fighting to raise workplace standards in construction, house cleaning, and app-based delivery sectors.
