6/11/2020: Today, Seema and her children were laid to rest in Ireland. May they Rest in Peace. This is an extremely difficult time for Seema’s family and those who are close to them, and they will be forever in our thoughts and prayers. We would like to extend our thanks to those in the Indian Community in Ireland who reached out to support us in this campaign. We would like to thank every single person who donated to support the family of Seema and her children. At this juncture, we will now close the campaign and liaise with Seema’s family with regard to the donations made. Thank you all.
*PLEASE NOTE* 1/11/2020 This page was set up to support the appeal made by Seema Banu's family on Irish news on the 30th of October 2020. Since setting up the page on the 30th of October I have been speaking with The Indian Embassy. The matter is of course being dealt with by them and they have advised that fundraising is not necessary for such purposes. Respectfully, we put a halt to the fundraiser until it was clear where the money being raised could be directed to support this family at such a tragic time. Having received an overwhelming number of messages from people looking to donate and support the family in some way we have reopened and repurposed the fundraising campaign. All donations received will be donated to ease any financial burden placed on those closest to Seema and her children as a result of this tragedy. There will therefore be no target. Thank you to all who have contributed so far xx
