On January 1st, 2026, my close family friends experienced a devastating house fire that left them with nothing but the clothes they were wearing. This incredible family, with eight children—six of whom are adopted—lost their home and all of their personal belongings in a matter of hours. The fire was so severe that even the fronts of two vehicles parked in front of the house were melted, leaving them without reliable transportation. They now face the unimaginable challenge of starting over, with no cell phones, driver's licenses, credit cards, car keys, school uniforms, or everyday essentials.

I have known this family for about fifteen years, and their kindness and resilience have always inspired me. Right now, they urgently need help to get back on their feet. The children need uniforms and school supplies to return to school, and the family needs vehicles to get to work and appointments. Everyday essentials like food, clothing, and toiletries are needed, and one family member required an emergency room visit, adding medical expenses to their worries. They are also searching for temporary housing while they rebuild their lives from scratch.
