Our family has been facing an incredibly difficult season. We recently experienced a house fire and lost nearly everything we own, with only a few personal belongings spared. As we work to rebuild and find stability, we are also navigating a much greater challenge—our 12-year-old child was diagnosed with leukemia in August.

Since the diagnosis, our lives have centered around ongoing treatments and frequent trips back and forth to Chapel Hill for medical care. The travel expenses, time away from work, and daily costs have added significant financial strain on top of the loss of our home and belongings.

We are asking for help to support our family as we recover from the fire, replace essential items, and cover travel and related expenses for our child’s cancer treatment.
