Support After Fire - Kent, WA
Donation protected
Dear All,
I am fundraising for my goddaughter and her parents who lost their home to a fire on December 29th, 2021. Aside from the devastating loss of furniture, clothing, and household items, there is an immediate need for basic personal necessities.
My 15-year-old goddaughter, an extraordinarily talented artist, lost painting and other art supplies. She is an exceptional student, very active in school programs, and is spoken highly of by teachers and school leaders often. Her mother, a devoted hard-working mother and my best friend from grade school, lost materials and equipment used for her small business in holistic body care. My goddaughter's father is overly dedicated to his daughter's happiness and the well-being of his family and must continue to work during this difficult transition to support them.
Please consider donating to this family in any amount to offer support during their displacement and to help them restore their home once a new apartment is made available. *UPDATE* An apartment will not be available in the upcoming months. The family is working with management to be relocated, but if you are aware of any homes for rent in the greater Seattle area, please reach out.
With sincere gratitude,
Ashlee (Godmom)
