Two years ago, our lives changed forever.

My partner was shot at the Beyond Wonderland Tragedy— an event that shook us to our core and changed our lives forever. Since then our family has been fighting to rebuild our lives. We’ve faced trauma, loss, and the weight of trying to heal while also survive.

Today we are houseless, as August is no longer able to work. I work part-time at Ulta Beauty, partime. However that’s not enough.. We have no vehicle, and limited family support. And recently had to flee an unsafe Roomate situation.

We are parents whom are actively doing everything in our power and everything we can to keep our family together, safe and moving forward with healing, all the while maintaining our hard work in our sobriety (while accepting the things we can’t control.)

This weekend— on the two-year mark, just as we hit another low. We’ve been offered a chance to shift the course of our lives.

We’ve found a 40ft partially converted bus! It’s the perfect size and start for our families immediate need. It’s exactly what we’ve been praying for, it means warmth, shelter, a place to cook, stability, a future.

However, we’re now calling in Community Support. We desperately need your help now, to make this happen. As we are entering the mission on 6-22-25. We need our own home..

We’re asking for $5,500-$6,000 to secure and register the bus. As well as other urgent repairs and safety upgrades.
