Due to a tragic explosion at the Clairton Coke Plant on Monday, August 11th that caused loss of life and serious injury to multiple brothers and sisters of our USW Local 1557. All contributions made are in the spirit of compassion and generosity, with donors acting out of a sincere desire to help- without expecting anything in return. We are deeply grateful for the kindness and solidarity shown by our community as we come together to support those in need.

Seventy percent of the funds will be divided equally among the families of the deceased, with the remaining thirty percent distributed evenly among the families of the injured.
