Support Families Impacted by Hurricane John
Donation protected
Hi my name is Liz and I am the GM of Pomella in Oakland. We are starting this go fund me in hopes to raise money for some of our long time employees families, who have been absolutely devastated by Hurricane John.
Hurricane John was a powerful tropical cyclone that caused deadly flooding across southern Mexico for several days in September. John strengthened from a moderate tropical storm into a Category 3 hurricane on September 24, devastating town after town.
We are asking for any help so that we can quickly get money to our employee's families. The small towns are completely underwater, and there’s no food or water due to all the damage. Other families have had to evacuate their homes because the rain hasn't stopped and their home is unlivable. There’s no electricity due to the rain and wind. There’s an alert about another rain storm coming so we are hoping to get the funds to their families as quickly as possible. The roads are in terrible condition, but everyone is working together as much as possible to keep everyone safe and to bring food in. Below are the 4 employees whose families have been impacted. We are so grateful for any help.
