For the last several years, with your help, during the holiday season we’ve raised money for children in Spring Valley and the greater Rockland County community so they might have toys and other gifts despite the challenges facing their families.

Directed by Proyecto Faro, a grassroots immigrant led community organization, we are once again raising money to help support families, but instead of toys we will be using funds to buy grocery cards and other essentials for those directly targeted by the current wave of federal violence.

There is a crisis. It is not just something happening on your Instagram feeds or TikTok or the television. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E) is targeting the vulnerable and devastating families in Spring Valley and all over the Rockland County. In our community, ICE raids are rampant and people are in need now.

Please consider donating what you can so that the families of our community might have a bit more security during this harrowing time. As always 100% of the money raised will be given to families in need at the direction of Proyecto Faro.
