As many know, the Park fire of Chico CA has devastated Northern California. Jennah Penrod, Eldon Lucas, Jill Penrod and Eric Penrod have all had a total loss of their 3 homes is Cohasset, CA. There are 4 young children involed, including a special needs kiddo. Unfortunately, insurance canceled their policies 2 months prior. These are all amazing, great people that I have had the privilege of knowing for 4 generations! I hope our mutual, and my personal friends can help these two households in this devastating time. The fire was started by a negligent man pushing a burned car into the rivers ravine in Upper Park. Luckily, he is incarcerated. 125k acre fire that effected the innocent and hard working, took their homes since 1999 and familiarity. These families deserve some peace of mind to at the very least, get their necessities and find housing for Jennahs parents. Jennah and Eldon have recently secured a home in Chico, but still lost some items. Her parents did lose 3 properties with no insurance. I sincerely ask for any and all help, they more than deserve it! I am a close friend, and their longevity means so much to me
