My hometown Accompong Town, Jamaica, has been devastated by a resent hurricane, leaving 90% of our community homeless. The destruction is staggering and the path to recovery feels daunting. Accompong is a place where families depend almost entirely on agriculture for both income and food. My own family is among them. The storm didn’t just destroys homes, it wiped out crops the means of survival for countless households.
