On December 11th, 2025, Dolores, a sweet and loving mother, passed away unexpectedly. Unaware of a stone blocking her kidney, Dolores developed septic shock and spent 13 days in the ICU on life support. Despite the best efforts of her medical team, there were no signs of improvement, and her family faced the heartbreaking decision to take her off life support and allow nature to take its course.

Losing someone we love is devastating, and the emotional pain is only compounded by the financial burden that follows. Dolores did not have life insurance, leaving the cost of her funeral and related expenses solely on her three daughters, including my best friend, Fallon. The weight of these costs is overwhelming during a time when the family should be able to focus on grieving and healing.
