When Sara gets assigned as a guardian angel to a lonely human girl named Evelynn, she begins to notice a similar loneliness from when she has worked in Heaven for the past eternity.
FALLEN FROM GRACE is a drama with elements of neo-noir and magical realism. This short film aims to explore the concept of loneliness within different communities, and navigates other themes such as burnout, religious trauma, and searching for a sense of self.

ABOUT
I am Maxine Olson, a filmmaker from the Philippines that is currently based in New Orleans, LA. Currently, I am in my senior year in Loyola University New Orleans. Through these past couple of years at Loyola, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with many talented individuals and help create a lot of short films. For this year, I aim to shoot what is the culmination of everything I have learnt throughout the years AKA my senior thesis film.
The concept of Fallen From Grace is something I've been working on before I even started university. It is a project that I hold dear to my heart, but it is also a project that is very ambitious so I need all the help I can get.

- Catering and Crafty for our Cast and crew
- Post-Production (Sound Design, Scoring, Film Festival Submissions)
