Support Faith's Journey to Recovery: Acoustic Neuroma

Loving daughter, sister, and mom of 2 little kids, hardworking manager at her job, and loving friend. Faith was hit with unexpected news back on January 15th when she found out she has a large Acoustic Neuroma, a benign tumor on her brain affecting her optic nerve and hearing canal. Due to the size and increased symptoms from this medical issue, Faith had neurosurgery on January 31st at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland, which is one of the best hospitals in the US. The only deficit known for after surgery is Faith will be legally deaf in her left ear, which will require a second surgery to get a cochlear implant overtime. Overall since her surgery Faith is facing a lot more of the deficits than was suspected due to severe nerve damage. Faith has paralization on left side of face and weakness of left side body which is causing her to do rehab to learn to walk again and strengthen her left side. Faith is having issues with her left eye and having to constantly keep drops in so her eye don't dry out and stop working due to optic nerve being damaged, causing severe blurry vision. Faith is definitely 100% deaf in her left ear since surgery which is causing vertigo and balance issues due to nerve damage. Recovery is going to be at least a couple months while Faith faces to deal with these deficits in hopes some of them get better overtime during rehab. As recovery time goes on Faith will have to face whether she can work like she did before surgery and also if she will be able to drive again.

Faith is the main supporter for her 2 kids, Jacob, 7 years old (autistic/ADHD), and Khloe, 1 year old. Faith has gone from working full-time at Royal Farms as a manager to not working at all, which has hindered finances due to symptoms hindering her capability to work efficiently in a high-paced, high-stress job.

All funds raised through GoFundMe, as well as the other donation platforms, will go directly to Faith's 2 kids to support them while she is out of work for months. In addition insurance is not covering much of surgery and other medical appointments, so all donations will help with these new medical hardships.
