Support Faith's DR Missions Trip

Dear Family and Friends,

I hope you are all enjoying the New Year! I have just started my last semester of high school as a senior, which is so crazy. My senior year has been filled with so many things, as I am trying to be involved in as much as I can. During the first semester, I played my last season of volleyball, was a student section leader for sports games, and started to play soccer for my school. I plan to be a part of our school's musical and play beach volleyball in the spring! I have enjoyed spending lots of time hanging out with friends and family. In terms of college, I'm not sure where I want to go yet, but I look forward to seeing where the Lord takes me.

Thank you to everyone who prayed and supported me last year. It was truly life changing and I fell in love with the Dominican Republic (DR) and its people. I learned so much about God, as well as myself through getting to serve the people in local towns. Our team created so many memories and were taught a lot of lessons about how fortunate we are to be so blessed with so many things. We got the opportunity to work on multiple community projects and put on a VBS for over 100 kids. We also tutored kids in English at a school called Freedom Christian School. From ages 4 to about 16, we got to create fun relationships that I will never forget. I saw the love of Christ and their joy and gratitude for the little that they have and it inspired me to come back and shine God's light every day.

Since then, there hasn't been a day that goes on that I don't think about the kids at Freedom and being in the DR. So...I am so excited to tell you that I have the rare opportunity to return back to the DR for another mission trip next month! We'll be taking a group of 15 students and 3 teachers back to a town called San Pedro and other smaller towns in the area. We will be there from February 13-22, 2025. We will have a similar schedule to the one we had last year. We'll be working on various community projects, putting on another VBS (Vacation Bible School) and once again, teaching English at Freedom Christian School. I am so so excited to get this amazing opportunity to be able to go again and also looking forward to all that God has planned for the team and ready to be used to do His work.

Would you prayerfully consider partnering with me on this mission trip? This is a great opportunity to share the Gospel of Christ and to display the love of God to those in need. I am looking for people who will commit to praying for me as I prepare for the trip, while I am there, and when I return home. Will you pray for me? I am also in need of people to support me financially. I would like to ask you to help send me to the DR. The trip costs $3,850. I have already received a $2,000 scholarship, but I am in need of $1,850 more. It would be great if you could send any funds to my gofundme account by January 31, 2025.
