Faitha is facing a recovery after having her fifth, and hopefully final, abdominal surgery today. Because of this surgery, Faitha will be unable to work for between four to six weeks while focusing on healing. She was dropped from OHP, which means there will be added medical expenses from her hospital stay and recovery. This has created a financial burden at a time when Faitha needs stability, rest, and support the most.

This fundraiser is being created to help Faitha with the costs that will continue while she is out of work. Donations will go toward medical expenses, rent, and monthly utilities so Faitha can focus on recovering without the added stress of falling behind on basic needs. The funds will also help support Faitha and her son during this time as they adjust to the challenges that come with surgery and healing.
