Support Faith DeRosa's Family in Flood Recovery

My name is Amanda Manforte and I am raising funds to help my niece, Faith DeRosa, and her family build back after the devastating flood last week in Southbury, CT.

Faith and her beautiful children had to be rescued by the Southbury Fire Department due to the rapidly rising water that entered their home.

They have been allowed to go back to their home to start clean up but are unable to stay there until the Fire Marshall and Eversource have the chance to inspect it and clear it as habitable.

The devastation has been astronomical including their electric grid for their home, all of their lawn equipment, 2 vehicles, flooring, walls, etc, along with numerous keepsakes, Christmas decorations and clothes for the winter for her, her husband, and 2 children.

At this time, they still don’t know the extent of damage to their well or septic tank and won’t have that information until the electricity can be restored. I will update when we have this information.

FEMA has yet to approve the area for disaster relief funding and the DeRosa family is unable to return to their home until they can secure funding to get the electrical work done.

Please if you can, help us raise the funds to get Faith, Kobe and their beautiful little children back into their home. Homeowner’s insurance will not cover flooding and so they are left to do this on their own.
