Support Faith Children's Home in Uganda

Hello, my name is Andi. Thanks for taking a moment to read my story about nine children living at Faith Children’s Home in Uganda. I met Peter Waihe at an online Bible study about two years ago. I eventually learned Peter and his family had taken into their home a four-year-old boy who his family and village had abandoned. After finding out about this little boy’s situation, he decided to take the necessary steps so that he and his family could care for him, even though his family was barely getting by themselves. Soon, the orphans who desperately needed help became nine children, each with a heartbreaking story of abandonment and hardships. Despite Peter’s very limited means, this selfless family opened their doors to these vulnerable children, providing them with safety, shelter, and the nourishment they desperately needed. Because all of Peter’s village people are very poor, no one was able to help out with the cost of caring for so many children. It has been a very difficult struggle and challenge to feed and clothe these children. When I found this out, I offered to post a GoFundMe for this little Faith Children’s Home.

This is a village where the children’s only toys are sticks, rocks, and wood. They have one prized possession, a rubber ball! Any donation you can give would be of tremendous help. Your donation will provide them with a much-needed water pump to access clean water, a much-needed roof repair, and livestock for a sustainable source of milk, eggs, and poultry. Their usual meals are rice and beans. Your donation will introduce nutritious foods like vegetables, milk, and other protein sources into their diet, ensuring their physical and mental well-being.
