Hi, we're raising funds to help aid friends Faith in Westmoreland and Ms. Val in St. Elizabeth Parish, Jamaica. We've spent time there twice this year, and we love how warm and amazing the people are in these communities. I admire their resilience to go through something as devastating as Hurricane Melissa and still praise God and give thanks with a smile. I spoke to friends, and they've asked for help. My heart goes out to them.

They lost the basics: clothes, mattresses, and their roofs. The local stores that are open are out of plywood, and they're charging the locals double the price for generators. My friend Faith takes care of her elderly mother and three-year-old niece. They lost the baby's clothes, shoes, and toys. During the storm, they transported the baby in a plastic bag. The voice on the other end was that of desperation. Faith Salmon is currently sharing bottled water and food with neighbors. These are tough times for many, but if you can donate anything to help purchase water, food and restore communication, we'd appreciate your help! God bless.
