High school sweethearts, Faith Ortega and Cameron Malone, were asleep in their RV when it caught on fire. Faith is in the ICU Burn Unit and Cameron was in the ICU Heart Unit when we lost him February 17th 2:12pm, Faith is still dealing with some very serious injuries, and will continue to stay there for quite a few months.

Faith has completed her skin grafting and surgeries at this time . She is back to being very coherent having to have more attention. Since the removal of the large clots in both lungs she has made a huge improvement she is off of dialysis she has went down on the ventilation being able to wear the trach collar more breathing more on her own also completely off ECMO. She was moved back to burn unit ICU and is now being transferred to a ICU recovery center to finish out the rest of the deeper therapy and recovery needed She is moving and whisper talking she is trying to do more things on her own burns are healing tremendously well she's more alert she's asking for things she's she's communicating a lot more through mouth/lips and hand signals even writing and texting on phone even though spelling isn't proper completely she still does very well with trying she's determined to try to go to do things on her own. but she is still fighting and is still very weak but still has a huge long road ahead of her with therapy and learning to walk talk spell right and everything else on top of the love of her love now being taken to God with three pets in this fire she is in for a heartbreaking long road .Cameron family has choose him to bless other children as a organ donor. the day we lost Cameron I took everything and split it between both families and now this has become just faith GoFundMe because we don't know what to expect and now I'm trying to raise funds for her to rebuild her life. We are asking and trying to gather funds for all the medical equipment and things she will need along with replenishing her art stuff clothes shoes bedding everything that she needs for her to succeed an come home to an not worry as well as paying for her license which was and getting her all house hold nassessaties she needs for her new rv and anything else that she may need along this journey so that she can heal properly and be set for she was working full time at the local Brahms and Grove and wanted to be working towards management she's a fabulous artist wonderful cook great and funny personality and I can't wait for her to come through this and I pray that the almighty God continues to work his magic with the angels that have helped and heal my baby girl and when she comes out of this she will never be the same and she will need a lot of medical supplies and she has to start all over and she'll want to honor the dream that her and Cameron had.
