I am an award winning Journalist, who worked with BBC as social media editor for 8 years. From last 5 years I have been working as a freelance journalist and increasingly it has become difficult to get work and specially get paid work. Because most of the factual work is not acceptable to somewhat somebody. Hence there are few publishers and few people who are willing to commission and pay you for your work. and it is very difficult to do the fact checking and other investigative work in this age where a lot of data and information is sought through money and paid platforms.
