Ezti is a devoted young mom to a wonderful 5-year-old girl, Sayler. She has been bravely fighting an aggressive type of lung cancer, pulmonary adenocarcinoma, for several years. Throughout much of this year, her doctors said she was in remission. She was even able to return to work at Klaich Animal Hospital for a brief time, where her coworkers were so eager to have her back!

About a month ago, her vision suddenly began to blur, leading her to the hospital—where she received the heartbreaking news that her cancer had spread to additional bones and into her cerebral spinal fluid. As a result, Ezti cannot work and has to rely heavily on her family to help her get around as her vision still hasn't returned to normal. Despite everything she's facing, Ezti remains the warm, generous, and compassionate soul her friends, family, and the entire Klaich Animal Hospital team know and love.
