My brother Ezra was hit by a car wednesday night on his scooter driving to work. He has a broken leg, broken toes, broken nose, broken collarbone and a chipped tooth. He is unable to move his right arm and both his legs and will be in a wheelchair. We need help with medical bills, I am his sister Sofia, alongside our single father Zac. My father is taking family medical leave for 6-12 weeks to care for Ezra at home as he recovers. We are struggling alone as it is, then this unfortunate event occurred. The driver who hit him was uninsured. Ezra’s scooters ($1,000) is totaled. His scooter was his main source of transportation to school and work.
